Drain and Bathroom blockage clearance
I don't normally write reviews but in this instance Luke and Si deserved it for going above and beyond. They were the most professional and clean tradesmen we had in our home. They arrived promptly on time and cleared the bathroom blockage that we had been suffering with a long time. Si gave us some really advice on how to avoid future drain blockages. We are also having issues with our drain. Unprompted Si offered to have a look at this for us and promptly sorted out the issue. We will definitely use them again and also recommend to all of our friends!
Blocked drain
The appointment was made promptly and the engineer arrived on time. The drain was cleared out timely. Additionally I really appreciate all the explanation I was given and the fact that the engineer was really respectful of the house and took off shoes while getting to the garden (as I live in the terraced house). Great and polite service really recommended!

Call Now: 07824 757572Abbey Wood presents unique drainage challenges with its combination of Victorian terraces near the station and modern developments extending toward Thamesmead. The older SE2 properties typically feature clay pipes susceptible to root ingress from mature London Plane trees lining residential streets. Meanwhile, newer builds in SE28 often have smaller diameter pipes that struggle with modern household waste patterns, requiring different clearance approaches.
Abbey Wood's location near the Thames creates specific drainage considerations, particularly for properties in lower elevations toward Thamesmead. During extreme high tides, some local drainage systems experience reduced flow capacity as outfalls are affected by river levels. We've developed specialist techniques for properties vulnerable to these tidal influences, including non-return valve installations and gravity-fed backup systems.
The London Clay geology underlying Abbey Wood causes gradual ground movement that can affect rigid drainage pipes over time. This is particularly evident in SE2's older housing stock where cast iron and clay pipes have suffered joint separation. Our no-dig repair technology is ideally suited to these conditions, allowing permanent repairs without the extensive excavation that London Clay's expansive properties would otherwise require.

Abbey Wood's mix of Victorian clay pipes and modern systems experience different blockage patterns. Older SE2 properties often suffer root ingress from mature street trees, while newer developments in Thamesmead face issues with wet wipes and cooking fats overwhelming smaller diameter pipes.
Absolutely essential for Abbey Wood properties, especially older terraces with original clay drainage. We regularly find hidden issues in SE2 properties where root damage from established trees has compromised underground pipes, potentially costing thousands after purchase without prior detection.
